Leading through Service.
Service is at the very core of who Lincoln Center Kiwanis is. The club is comprised many ages and backgrounds called together for a common purpose; partnering and leading efforts to support the youth in your community.
Service Projects
For more than 100 years Lincoln Center Kiwanis has lead or partnered with other organizations to provide enriching experiences and fundamental services and necessities. Here are a just a few of the examples:
- Volunteer staffing at Arnold and Everett Elementary Food Markets
- Annual Kiwanis Karnival for Kids
- Bagging soil samples to help kids learn about the earth
- Staffing at science nature nights
- Decorating the train tunnel for Boo at the Zoo
- Volunteers to construct and install 12 raised garden beds schools through out the LPS district
- Serving as train conductors at the Lincoln Children's Zoo
- Volunteering to read to elementary students
- Volunteering at the HUB

Mike Kucera, members of the Ag & Environment Committee and members of other local Kiwanis Clubs complete construction of raised garden beds. The beds will be distributed at a variety of schools around the district for hands on educational experiences.
